The psychedelic experience

The psychedelic experience. I will be basing my research project on this subject as I want to learn more about the psychedelic creative world and where my practice fits into this.

My aim is to discover a wider range of visual communicators and advocates of the psychedelic experience. The psychedelic experience is something that has been used for thousands of years by the shamans and is still being used today for many different reasons. The psychedelic experience of heightened perception can allow artists and creatives to explore the internal mind and draw creativity from a pure state of being. I want to learn more on this subject so that I am much more informed and this project is the perfect time for me to explore this is as much depth as I can, both visually and conceptually.

I have now discovered that creating psychedelic artwork is big part of my life and is something that I will hope to be doing for the rest of my life. That makes this project crucial to my development and understanding.
